"I moved into an apartment during the second semester of my freshman year. I was told that my roommate was going to be a senior, and as we exchanged texts I was unsure if we would get along. Little did I know, the girl I was moving in with was the president of Pi Beta Phi, and she would soon become my very best friend. One summer later, I decided to go through formal recruitment as a sophomore. Bid day came along and I opened my envelope to a card that read "Pi Beta Phi". Ever since, I have had the most amazing sisters behind me in everything I do. They are always there to cheer me on and help me to grow into an even better woman. I am forever thankful for the love Rhyse Smith (PC '17) showed me and the sisterhood she has welcomed me into!"
